Great list!! Thanks for this. My all-time favorites are Bringing Up Bebe, Parenting Without Borders, Free-Range Kids, French Kids Eat Everything, and Happiest Baby on the Block. If people are only going to read one book, it should be Brain Rules for Baby (not just for babies).

For baby prep, I prefered the Mayo Clinic’s version of “What to Expect.” For general discipline, I LOVE Jo Frost’s books, particularly Toddler Rules.

Right now I’m reading Waiting for Birdie about anticipating the second kid with a toddler, and it’s great!
